This is the third story in my revamped series, Darkness of the Farlands. Revamp coming soon :P.
So I was messing with my laptop to make it detect my old computer as an external monitor (the cable that was bound to the monitor didn't have a slot in my laptop) when my friend in Canada finally messaged me on Skype.
Di'Angelous: ARMAGHAN, WAKE UP RIGHT NOW
themaster402: m8, m8, where were you?
Di'Angelous: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, GET ON THE SERVER RIGHT NOW!
themaster402: Okay, calm your balls. I'm coming right now.
"Geez, what's up with him?", I thought. Clickity-split, I got onto the server and saw.... him.
[Owner]<themaster402>You.... You piece of hell-damned shit.
[Nightmare]<DTF3421>Offense detected. Terminating...
themaster402 fell into the void. Ugh, I clicked respawn.
[Owner]<themaster402>That's it, I'm banning you.
Then I remembered that nothing can stop this bastard.
[Owner]<themaster402>Odd, before you blame me for doing all this, I have proof.
I had the server log when I downloaded the server's files. Inside the log, you could spot multiple commands FarMan or whatever shouldn't be able to do. A hacker on our server sounds absurd, since it's so small and insignificant (at least for now). I don't believe in supernatural things, so this was confusing shit.
I had sent the log files (and tried to explain it to him in Layman terms). He always believes what comes straight out of the server logs. With no time to waste, I typed in "mu" which brought up the website for managing the server immediately. I tried clicking on the kick button next to "FarMan", which was now looked like Zalgo text. "Hah, Zalgo text", I thought. Probably just a stereotypical hacker trying to scare us. The kick button didn't work, so I used the console to kick him. Thankfully, it worked.
I went back to the server, relieved that the server was intact. (Continuation is coming very soon)
